Paper Abstract:
|
We designed and implemented a foreign vocabulary learning system that can create learning materials made up of the foreign words and their meanings in colored letters. The results of the evaluation experiment with nine participants showed that the memory retention rate was highest when colored letters were used, especially in the case where the colors used for the materials were selected by the learners themselves. Because the number of the participants in this study is quite small, we should conduct a larger-scaled experiment to derive statistically significant results in the future. |
