Paper Abstract:
|
Goal modeling is a formal approach using a visual language developed for the elicitation of requirements in software engineering projects. Due to commonalities between activities of the so-called early-phase requirements engineering and of the analysis phase in instructional system design (ISD) both focusing on business goals of an organization we propose to use formal goal models accompanying the established informal templates in ISD analysis. We show how goal models can ensure that conflicts between goals of different stakeholders are detected and resolved and hence the right learning scenario will be chosen and implemented. |
