Paper Abstract:
|
This paper proposes a design framework that applies Merrills first principles of instruction to an online college English
writing course. The framework consists of five interrelated principles grounded in learning and instructional theories and
research; it emphasizes task-centered instructional design. Specific directions for research and development for the
improvement of English writing, especially in online writing courses, are presented with suggestions for further research. |
