Paper Abstract:
|
Technology transfer, practice example of strategic management of information, has become a phase of pivotal importance
in the process of developing practical applications for the results of scientific research.
Developing strategies for facilitate relationships between researchers and the technology requesting entities has made it
possible to promote license agreements to exploit the research results of potential commercial interest.
In a context of increasing technological progress, the involvement of the strategic management of information is more
intensive, although at the same time its execution procedures are more complex. For this reason it is particularly
interesting to know how companies, universities, and governmental organizations have practiced the technology transfer
in real examples, and have dedicated efforts to developing strategies to exploit research results.
In this work, we consider the specific case of the patent that registers the application biotechnological to increase the
concentration of the natural antioxidant resveratrol, developed for the Center of Edafology and applied Biology of Murcia
(CEBAS), and the Technology Transfer Office of the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (OTT-CSIC). |
