Paper Abstract:
|
Educational digital games have the potential to motivate students and make complex and abstract topics like
programming more appealing. This paper presents an innovative game based learning (GBL) approach, developed within
the project Coding4Girls, that aims to prepare and motivate girls for building programming skills. It is based on playing
games related to programming concepts, as well as on providing the students with skills and knowledge to design and
develop their own games in Snap! visual programming interface. |
