Paper Abstract:      This paper is a case study of a rural school in Taiwan. The school in this study has successfully implemented and sustained the integration of ICT across the curriculum to support teaching and learning, whilst other similar schools have failed to maintain the impetus of a national project. The main purpose of the present study is to examine the key determinants of a school’s success in managing changes of ICT integration, with a specific focus on the effect of leadership approaches and teachers’ perceptions of ICT adoption on the change process in the Taiwanese educational settings. Through the interviews and document analysis, the school’s leadership approaches to managing changes involving ICT and teachers’ reaction to ICT integration were analysed. The study, on the one hand, highlights the importance of collaborative leadership in successfully managing ICT integration into the curriculum. On the other hand, it reflects upon the potential effect of the leadership processes on teachers’ perceptions of teaching with ICT.
