Paper Abstract:
|
Designing online environments that are able to deliver instructional material and simultaneously accomplish the intended
goal of instruction, which is to teach, has become a challenge for most instructional designers working within
organizations around the world. Networks Financial Institute, an outreach of Indiana State Universitys College of
Business, has chosen to apply the theoretical principals of instructional design in the development of its twelve online
courses designed for the nations state legislators, legislative staff, and others on the fundamental principles of banking,
insurance, and other financial services. The accomplished results have in turn positively affected the dynamics of the
entire process, making learning involvement a more meaningful experience. |
