Paper Abstract:

This paper scrutinizes the potential educational surplus of using mobile technology in a higher education, student-centred
learning environment. First, four phenomenological different applications of mobile technology in the context of higher
education are described. Next, the potential positive effect on teaching and learning activities is looked at by examining
the applications for compatibility with the essential components of a student-centred learning environment. |
