Paper Abstract:
|
Mobile devices and related services are essential facilitators for learning and cooperation. eLearning developers and
educational designers have to be aware of mobile technology related technological prospects to be able to determine how
to benefit from new possibilities. In the ViCaDiS Project (Virtual Campus for Digital Students) one of the subject areas
is related to mobile learning. In ViCaDiS six European countries and ten partners are implementing Social Software and
mobile features into the learning environments of partner universities. The ViCaDiS Project conducted two
questionnaires to find out the potential of mobile technologies for eLearning and the educational use of social media.
Results of these two questionnaires are presented in this paper and the mobile technology implications to eLearning are
discussed. |
