Paper Abstract:      The U.S. Census Bureau, Department of Education and Department of Labor have published statistics regarding the growth in the Hispanic population, the low university graduation rates of Hispanic students, and the impact this will have on tomorrow’s workforce. Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) need to increase the number of students graduating with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to fill the future needs of business for qualified labor. As technology has proliferated and institutions are offering online courses and degree programs, and as the number of instructors using e-tools to support learning has increased, Hispanic student success in the classroom using e-tools becomes imperative. The present study examined Hispanic students in higher education business programs taking online and campus-based courses employing various e-tools and measures the impact that technology acceptance constructs have on Hispanic student success. The constructs examined in this study are course performance, computer self-efficacy, ability to work independently, and time management. Results indicate the three variables are significant predictors of course grade.
