Paper Abstract:      Self-directed navigational learning with Web contents often finishes with incomplete knowledge. It is also hard for learners to be aware of the incompleteness of knowledge they have learned even if they think it is completed. Our approach to this issue is to enable learners to publish knowledge obtained from their navigational learning process to get the reviews from the peers. The most important point towards knowledge publishing is how to represent knowledge so that the peers can understand it. However, such knowledge representation is not easy for the learners. This paper describes a knowledge publishing assistant, which scaffolds the process from self-directed navigational learning to knowledge publishing. It can promote learners’ knowledge publishing by automatically generating a hypertext with TOC (Table Of Contents) as representation of knowledge they have learned in their navigational learning process. It also helps them to gain the peer reviews by publishing the hypertext.
