Paper Abstract:
|
This paper focuses on two flexible and dynamic techniques designed to model adequately security threats that are
hanging over organizational information systems. These techniques are particularly interesting in the current moving
environment: the first one is an extension of the traditional attack trees structure, showing reusability properties that
might be determining in a changing situation; the second one is an abstraction-based approach, especially adapted to
model complex threats with possibly unknown characteristics. A practical example is given to illustrate each presented
technique; their respective advantages, limits and possible improvements are discussed. |
