Paper Abstract:
|
Learning objects have been around for a long time but are not as widely used as they might be. The reasons are mainly
pedagogical and relate to both the context in which the object is used and its implementation. These are explored in this
paper and a solution proposed in the form of learning objects based on XML technology that allows tutors to edit the
contents. Extensible learning objects are being trialled in a course on an introduction to programming with JavaScript. |
