Paper Abstract:
|
This paper proposes a novel educational support system for electronic circuit experiments in technological education.
The system monitors a circuit made by a student during the experiment, and automatically translates the circuit into the
general circuit-description language (SPICE). The system can then simulate how the circuit works, based on the
translated SPICE information. Thus, a student can check the behavior of the circuit on a computer display, and find
circuit errors, if any, in real time. The system improves the efficiency and safety of experiments in creating circuits.
Applying the proposed system to a basic electronic circuit demonstrated its effectiveness. |
