Paper Abstract:      Design Patterns are a great aid in the design process of object-oriented systems, however the number of design patterns being published is growing rapidly, making their use and management harder. In e-business such patterns involve distributed objects and are even more complex. This paper presents a technique that can be used to catalog design patterns and associate them to UML stereotypes. As a result the design models of a typical system will involve fewer elements and therefore will be simpler to understand and use. Using this technique with the aid of code generation tools, the productivity and quality during design can be dramatically increased.
