Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper we describe some challenges and opportunities to develop serious games using Moderately Open Multi-Agent Systems. We examine a specialization of this model for the development of real games. This MOMAS-based model has the advantage that it allows both high- and low-level role specifications. It comes with a methodology for analysis and design of multi-agent systems, a programming language and tools for fast prototyping. We have demonstrated the use of this model and development framework with real-world application examples. These applications implement prototypes for Distributed Virtual Environment Systems. This model has been used for the development of the GAMESONOMY platform. |
