Paper Abstract:
|
This paper shows a current overview of CSCL environment research project. The objective functions of the environment
are (1) to provide a broad learning community space, (2) to support learners discussion to find similar utterances
automatically with use of NLP (natural language processing), and (3) to support learners discussion to disclose
preceding and related discussion structure in visual manner. When a CSCL environment provides these functions, various
information and knowledge are spread to learners attending to connected LMSs. Furthermore, various viewpoints and
contradictory standpoints are disclosed, compared, discussed, and made consensus among broader range of learners. It
shows that the proposing environment prompts to prompt and foster collective intelligence on attending learners. |
