Paper Abstract:      The contribution of tourism as a promoter of social and economic development is strengthened at the international level thanks to the emergence of new destinations. The activity has become one of the economic sectors of broader global growth. The tourist digital communication acquires special relevance and is taken advantage of by the national Governments of the countries of Iberoamerica as a platform for the promotion and dissemination of their offer. This research identifies the tourist communication channels used by government agencies and analyzes the content and tools used for the positioning of countries as a tourist destination.
