Paper Abstract:
|
The process of creation strategic acoustic maps (SAM) and related to them action plans (AP) is very complex and demands specialized knowledge. The units of local administration and units managing major roads, railways and airports are obliged by law to perform strategic noise mapping process, which require of them to be competent enough to do it in a proper way. As experience shows, this process needs support from the experts familiar with acoustic methodology and procedures. This paper presents supporting system designed to assist the administrators of strategic noise maps. The topic was introduced by a brief description of problem area associated with the strategic noise mapping. Basic ICT technologies that enable users to create and access information included in the supporting system have been also described. Finally a short example of utilization created supporting system has been presented. |
