Paper Abstract:

Advancements in technology combined with the reduction of cost for electricity and the internet have made it possible to
automate tedious tasks in our everyday life therefore saving time and cost. Most universities rely on manual attendance
taking, a process known to be time consuming and repetitive for both students and staff. This paper proposes a cloud
based facial recognition attendance system that saves time for both student and staff while also saving on the
maintenance cost for universities. |
