Paper Abstract:
|
Alignment is an intentional state organizations aim at. Misalignments are the factors that organizations as a whole and its
organizational actor as enablers face in their routine business operations. This paper proposes a metaphor between
misalignment and disease, to understand how misalignment management might be improved. Under medical sciences,
diseases manifest themselves through symptoms and signs, and are prevented through prophylaxis procedures. Following
this approach, we present misalignment examples and a set of guidelines to prevent misalignments, based on both
academic research and professional consultancy. |
