Paper Abstract:
|
The present paper wishes to discuss some basic concepts of Brain-Based Learning and its relation to optimizing learning
procedures through physical and on line educational practices. In particular it examines the combinational use of alpha and
beta brain waves, embedded in teaching activities as a way of enhancing knowledge information flow, advancing cognitive
and critical skills, while supporting a relaxing, calming, creative, actively thinking and problem solving environment in a
balanced state of mind. The research that took place with 40 young adults has shown a strong positive correlation between
alpha, beta waves and overall educational progress and skills enhancement. |
