Paper Abstract:
|
The present paper suggests an alternative instructional approach for introductory courses to Logo programming, by using
a series of activities and preconstructed reusable microworlds developed in the multimedia programming environment
MicroWorlds Pro. This series is characterized by a gradual increase in complexity and difficulty and functions as a
supporting framework such as a scaffolding during the gradual familiarization of the trainees with Logo and
MicroWorlds Pro, by applying in action the constructionist reasoning and exploiting the gradually acquired experience of
the trainees, providing them with tools that they are in position to use. |
