Paper Abstract:
|
In this paper, we present an architecture, called Affective Module, which can be integrated in an Adaptive Educational
Hypermedia System to provide personalized learning. The Affective Module has been designed with the aim of providing
the student with a more personalized and friendly environment for learning according to his personality, moods and
emotions. One of the most important highlights of personalized learning is that of recognizing the student's affective state
and providing him with teaching methods and pedagogical actions in an affectively suitable way. We show how to design
an affective model, which provides the student with a suitable response from a pedagogical and affective viewpoint. |
