Paper Abstract:
|
"Ubiquitous Computing", "Pervasive Computing" and "Ambient Intelligence" are expressions which have, for the past
fifteen years, been identified as a new paradigm to characterize the new way to introduce technologies, especially
information and communication technologies in the everyday life. The purpose of this paper is to present a research work
dedicated to a study of the concept of Ambient Intelligence. Following an introduction dealing with some general issues
of categorization and definition, this paper introduces the authors' process and methodology to deconstruct the notion of
Ambient Intelligence through its scientific communication and literature. The paper then proceeds to present a first
attempt to elaborate a "semi-formal" ontology of the notion and outline the conceptual frameworks and hypotheses of the
study. |
