Paper Abstract:
|
We propose a new system development methodology programmable system development and experiment its use for Social Networking Services (SNS). An SNS is for tsunami disaster control for local communities. An SNS performs a wide range of services necessary for tsunami control. By its nature, it must be an easy-to-use GIS-based system with powerful GIS analysis capabilities. Another desirable feature of an SNS is resident participation. The GIS layer structure proposed in this paper nicely supports this user participation. Some of the operations developed for tsunami disaster control are shown. We report ongoing developments in Hachinohe-City, Japan. |
