Paper Abstract:

E-learning, in most of ways, has reached a wider audience due to broadband access success that is leading the
Society to Information Society. However, because traditionally Universities has been working under very particular
paradigms and rules, there is lack of strategic planning, above all e-learning is not the main stay of the University. In
this context, the paper below provides the issues that have to be taken into account when analyzing the business elearning
strategy of any organization and, in a further work, will try to identify key issues to be successful in such a
competitive market.
This work is part if the AEEVA Project (TIN2005-08788-C04-02) which is subsidized by the Ministerio de
