Paper Abstract:
|
Since XML technologies have become a standard for data representation, a huge amount of methods for processing XML
data occurs every day. Consequently, it is necessary to compare the newly proposed methods with the existing ones, as
well as to analyze the behaviour of a particular method on various types of data. In this paper we provide an overview of
existing approaches to XML benchmarking and we show that the problem has been highly marginalized so far.
Consequently, we further discuss persisting open issues and their possible solutions. |
