Paper Abstract:
|
Organizations want to make their information systems more agile so they can better adapt to changes in business
requirements. Web Services is a technology proposal to enable such flexible and reusable systems. Interoperability is a
critical constraint because most business processes cross organization and technology boundaries.
This poster presents WS-Map, a broad and vendor-independent standards index, freely accessible over the Internet,
comprising a survey of Web Services technology. Using WS-Map, developers, researchers and other Web Services users
can put standards in perspective and make more informed technology decisions for their projects. |
