Modern information systems are extending the traditional boundaries of organisations incorporating external resources in the form of data and services. The need to support increasing client demands has led to dynamic and more complex business processes. In this paper, a high level architecture is presented for managing complexity of business functions using Grid workflow. An Enterprise Resource Planning scenario is presented as a use case for discussing in detail implementation issues. |
