Paper Abstract:
|
The EduKbr Portal is an educational environment that is structured in eight thematic sites, with contents and activities that try to integrate many areas of knowledge, in a very pleasant way. The target public is teachers, educators and students, but also parents and the whole community involved in Education are welcome. The differential and the pioneering work of the Portal are guaranteed through the interaction of the sites, by the commitment with the ICT applied to the creation of the Dynamic Communities of Learning on the web, and the frequent follow up and updating made by a multidisciplinary team in charge of developing the contents, which ones are in accordance with the curriculum of the schools. The main proposals of the Portal are to open up a new space in the Brazilian educational panorama, to stimulate a collective construction of knowledge via collaborative learning, to use the many possibilities of the web for researching, to make the critical and reflexive awareness of the new teaching-learning process arise and to reinforce the citizenship. Also the intention is to promote the citizens competent participation in the new Information Society, as nowadays people must be capable of accomplishing actions as a team, for the personal and the collective growth. |
