Paper Abstract:
|
Honours degree students of Public Health Nutrition carried out a half-day assignment in which they were asked to
produce, under time pressure, a written press release and a short video suitable for television, on a given nutritional topic.
This simulated a real-world situation that they might well face in their future employment. They were encouraged to
reflect on the experience, and could use the outcomes of the assignment as evidence towards their learning objectives,
assessed in their e-portfolios. |
