Paper Abstract:      New equipment and user interaction software emerged and became popular in the last decade and the interaction with each equipment has peculiarities that must be considered. This paper presents a study based on user testing to investigate the dimensions of buttons when interact with Kinect and WiiMote, two motion-sensitive devices. Our data show that, in the interaction with small dimensions buttons, the time and the number of mistakes are higher than compared with other dimensions, mainly in the interaction using WiiMote; our findings for WiiMote is close to the literature but we did not find the same for Kinect; but volunteers preferred to interact with buttons that have large dimensions instead of the smaller ones.
