Paper Abstract:      The research is endeavoured to explore artificial intelligence technology adoption in electronic commerce and business processes. The research dedicated to the author's doctoral theses it is in its opening stage. The author's doctoral thesis meant to be about digital marketing personalization using artificial intelligence technologies. The doctoral thesis will aim to collect and analyze specific e-commerce company marketing and sales data and create a machine learning algorithm that will increase key performance indicators by personalized marketing. Machine learning technologies algorithm will initiate in inner website upsells, cross-sells, down-sells, popups and banner display settings. Artificial intelligence technologies today are in all areas. Important to understand what is happening in different industries and markets currently to prove that personalization is the key to a successful marketing strategy almost in all areas and especially in e-commerce to justify the author's doctoral theses topicality.
