Paper Abstract:
|
This paper argues that universal accessibility is one of the most critical factors for the road ahead towards a permanent
grid infrastructure. The paper evaluates the accessibility of the existing production grid infrastructure and draws a future
agenda for a universally accessible grid infrastructure. The paper overviews undergoing work at Trinity College Dublin,
within the framework of the Webcom-G project, to support universal accessibility to the grid via a metagrid infrastructure
based on social and economic models. This would address the situated and the actual disability needs for Grid access. |
