Paper Abstract:
|
Quadcopters, so called drones, have quickly become a versatile tool with a wide spectrum of useful application areas. This article discusses the power of ubiquitous hacking, where drones were used to collect credential data from wireless devices, while harnessing ground stations to crack security keys of the devices. The objective of this article is to raise awareness of dangers caused by nefarious hacking that deviously utilize drones. The worst is yet to come true is the possibility that an army of drones will fly around and compromise thousands of wireless devices and commandeer them to establish more serious cyber-attacks. An algorithm is also suggested for self-organization of mobile devices in order to optimize energy consumption and reduce packet delays and packet losses. |
