Paper Abstract:
|
IRI-Easy is the current version of version of a synchronous distance learning system developed at Old Dominion
University and used there for several years to teach a variety of classes. System functionality has evolved not only in
response to rapid changes of computing and networking technologies but also due to our experiences in using the system
to teach many university-level classes. Our purpose in this paper is to discuss changes in functionality due to our
experiences in using the several versions that we have implemented. We describe functionality that we have omitted or
modified significantly in newer versions and the reasons for those changes. |
