Paper Abstract:      This short paper presents a new approach for trust negotiation. In this approach, our view of trust negotiation is distinct from common approaches such as TrustBuilder (M. Winslett et al., 2002) or Trust-X (E.Bertino et al., 2003). For us, the trust decision is based on risk factors where all information sources such as credentials, recommendation information and history of past transactions can be used. We first present our trust negotiation model and then give a model for a framework implementation. This framework model is inspired by the logical formalism of the Krukow Reputation-System Framework (Karl Krukow et al., 2005).
