Paper Abstract:
|
The vendor lock-in is one of the challenges which have been affected the Cloud Computing adoption. Considering that each provider has different features, the vendor lock-in avoids the migration of an application among providers (portability). Likewise, different providers are not able to collaborate among themselves (interoperate). Considering the separation between specification and implementation, and considering that an electronic contract can drive an inter-organizational business process, we argue that a contract can be used to drive the portability and interoperability process in Cloud Computing. This paper shows the first steps towards an approach based on electronic contract to support the portability and interoperability among Clouds. This approach will support: (i) the creation of federated Clouds; (ii) the collaboration between private and public Clouds; and (iii) the application portability. |
