Paper Abstract:
|
International competition and globalization of the economy offers a lot of opportunities for internationally operating enterprises to restructure their production and join global production networks (GPNs). This leads to a need for support different aspects related to these networks. Important aspects include different types of networks, their differences in terms of vertical and horizontal linkages, and groups of stakeholders. The meta model represented in this paper is a first step towards a more effective and more efficient provision of service in GPNs. |
