Paper Abstract:
|
Aiming at an appropriate set of free-hand gestures for a virtual try-on application two studies were conducted. Despite the special domain the focus was on application-independent interaction tasks. In the first study a technology-based approach was applied evaluating a pre-defined set of gestures whereas in the follow-up study a human based approach was followed eliciting gestures from users by means of the Wizard of Oz method. This paper presents main findings of the two studies with respect to the gestures and first experiences concerning the chosen methodic approaches. |
