Paper Abstract:
|
We present a topological point of view which leads us to an efficient interpolation method for an intelligible speech synthesized from a pair of speech-spectral sequences Y(A)and Y(B) uttered the same sentence by a speaker A and B. Using this point of view we can relate a certain smoothness of a spectral-surface with the boundary of Y(A)and Y(B) to the intelligibility of synthesized speech-spectral sequences. We show experimentally that a flat connection of the spectral-surface derived from soliton equations play an important role in maintaining speech intelligibility.
