Paper Abstract:
|
eHealth and telemedicine, in which interactions are electronically mediated and physician and patient may be embedded in different socio-cultural and legal settings, call for a reinterpretation of the fiduciary nature of the physician-patient relationship which was traditionally predicated on direct physician-patient contact. This paper outlines the problematic and explores some possible ways of resolving the matter. |
