This research was to develop the online lesson through Synectics activities to enhance creative thinking for undergraduate students. The objectives were 1) to develop the online lesson by using Synectics Activities to Enhance Creative Thinking for Undergraduate Students, 2) to evaluate the quality of the developed online lesson, 3) to determine the creative thinking of the learners who learned from the developed online lesson, and 4) to evaluate the satisfaction of the learners towards the developed online lesson. The result from the quality evaluation for the online lesson by using Synectics Activities to Enhance Creative Thinking for Undergraduate Students by 3 experts in contents and 3 experts in media (6 experts in total) showed that the quality of the developed online lesson in terms of contents and media was 3.63 and 4.36, respectively, or at good level. The developed online lesson was then tested with the sampling group of 30 first-year undergraduate students in the second semester of the academic year 2009 chosen through simple random sampling method, namely drawing lots out of the students in the Department of Educational Communication and Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, King Mongkuts University of Technology Thonburi. The test result showed that the average score for creative thinking after the treatment was higher than the one before the treatment. This means that the learners had higher creative thinking than before learning. The result from the evaluation of the sampling group satisfaction was 4.41. It means the satisfaction was at high level. It could be concluded that the online lesson by Synectics Activities to Enhance Creative Thinking for Undergraduate Students could be used for the instruction and the development of creative thinking. |
