Paper Abstract:      Several researches have focused on the adoption stage of a technological innovation from the users’ viewpoint, obtaining theories or models of behavioural decision, traditionally applied in Social Science. Under the principles of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and its different extensions, this study empirically assesses the main antecedents of perceived usefulness. Data was gathered from 132 experienced users of web-based learning management systems. The findings show that the effect the trust and compatibility with learning style are the two strongest determinants of using a web-based learning management system.
