Paper Abstract:      This work presents a digital literacy project carried out inside a prison in Spain. It is, in essence, a training process for trainers, designed to prevent inmates from becoming digitally excluded. The creation of the project is in response to the clear need, defined by professionals at the institution, for training activities incorporating ICT (New Information and Communication Technologies) to be designed for the inmate population. The aim of the university team that undertook this proposal was that the process used in that framework should also serve as a reference or guide so that those participating in the study could analyse and question the model for technological literacy that is most generally used.
