Paper Abstract:
|
This article presents an adptation model for generic teaching environments composed of pedagogical agents. Performing
the instruction adaptation to an apprentice´s individual characteristics, implicates the system to know: the cognitive
learning patterns of the student, translated as learning styles and its pedagogical implications; and molding the
apprentice´s characteristics: knowledge level, aims, preferences and experiences of the apprentice. The model was
integrated in a teaching environment and validated in a virtual discipline in order to asses its objectives. |
