Paper Abstract:      The unfolding of Web 2.0 brought an increasing number of blogs. Accompanying this growth, social tagging became an important mechanism to assist users on blog searches, allowing people to generate tags for blog posts. However, social tagging also has its problems. Different keywords can share the same semantic meaning (synonyms). The same keyword can have multiple meanings (polysemy), and the keywords can be too specific or too general. In order to address these issues, this paper implements and evaluates four tag recommendation services. The main contribution of this work is to tackle these problems using different approaches; enabling users to choose the appropriate recommendation service according to their needs. Furthermore, some preliminary experiments were performed and the effectiveness of the services is presented.
