Paper Abstract:
|
In Intensive Care Units, physicians and nurses are still performing time-consuming manual data analysis for making the most optimal medical decisions for each individual patient. Moreover, current ICU platforms are not offering an infrastructure for infection surveillance, decision support, data-driven guidance and modeling of critical illness. Due to the lack of an integrated medical management platform detecting infections at an early stage or following the daily patients evolution is complex. The focus of our work is on the system design of medical decision support services for the ICU and on service optimization through modeling and prediction of the performance of services. |
