Paper Abstract:
|
This paper introduces the concepts of two web entities, Web-Beings and Web-Mobs, as well as an Intelligent Web Architecture (IWA) as their supporting infrastructure. Web-beings are truly distributed intelligent agents capable of perceive, reason, decide and take actions over the virtual as well as the real world, while Web-Mobs are conceived as Web-Beings communities that emerge from Web-Being interaction. The motivation to design these web entities is to fully exploit the possibilities of recent promising paradigms as the Semantic Web, Web Services, Grid Computing, and Peer-to-Peer applications, among others. In addition, we describe a sample application, the Social Browser, which is a proof-of-concept of the proposed architecture in the context of communities and social networking. |
